Medical-grade Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) is a copolymer used in many Food and Drug Administration-approved therapeutic devices owing to its biodegradability and biocompatibility. PLGA is currently widely used in many fields, such as bone nails, coatings, lifting thread, absorbable sutures; microspheres, gel for drug delivery, etc.

Because of good biocompatibility and biodegradability, they can be used in various areas, such as for plastic surgery implants, dermal fillers and other high-end anti-aging cosmetic products.
