Medical-grade Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) is a copolymer used in many Food and Drug Administration-approved therapeutic devices owing to its biodegradability and biocompatibility. PLGA is currently widely used in many fields, such as bone nails, coatings, lifting thread, absorbable sutures; microspheres, gel for drug delivery, etc. 
 
Description Poly(DL-lactide-co-glycolide) (PDLGA) is a synthetic and biodegradable biomaterial. It is a copolymer based on DL-lactic and glycolic acids. PDLGA has been widely used in drug delivery, such as microspheres.
